Upload warning message for incomplete/corrupt files

A message now displays when you try to upload a myPatch CDM file from the patient's Holter device that is under a specific size (as the file is likely to be incomplete or corrupt). You can continue with the upload or try uploading another file.

Patient ethnicity option

A new Ethnicity dropdown can now be added to the enrolment screen, enabling patients to identify their ethnicity category (if required). Admin users with the relevant permissions can choose to display this field when they create a new facility.

Enrol patient on Holter device

Part of the enrolment process occurs outside BeatBox (via external myPatch software). Therefore, when this stage is complete the procedure's status is automatically updated to ‘Enrolled on device’ in BeatBox, regardless of whether the enrolment was successful in myPatch or not.

However, if there was an error during the myPatch enrolment process you can now select the Enrol on device option in your Worklist and try again.

Referring Physician and Ordering Clinician availability 

Depending on your own access levels, when you add or edit a Referring Physician or Ordering Clinician at enrolment, you can now choose the facilities from which the Referring Physician/Ordering Clinician can be accessed (i.e. be available for other users to view or select).

Patients associated at facility level

Patients are now associated with the facility level rather than the lab level. When you search for a patient at enrolment, your search will include the entire facility to which the lab belongs.

Easy switch between data views in Worklist

You can now switch between specific views in your Worklist:

• The Age and DOB columns have merged into the Age/Date of birth column. Click the top of the column to switch between viewing the patient's age or their date of birth.

 

• The Since option has been added to the Upload date column. Click the top of the Upload date/Since column to switch between viewing the upload date and time, or the number of days since the upload date.

UI updates and improvements: Worklist

The following UI updates and improvements have been made to your Worklist:

• the procedure status now includes an image to help with identification and to show you which stage it is at within the process (the example below refers to Holter procedures)

• the procedure type is now identified by an icon (refer to the options in your filter to easily see whether it is a Holter or an ECG)

• the file size has changed from bytes (B) to megabytes (MB)
• hover text has been removed from the filter

UI updates and improvements: Report procedure page

To simplify the patient details that display on the Report procedure page, the patient's gender now displays as 'F' (Female), 'M' (Male), 'ND' (Choose not to disclose) or 'O' (Other).

Other updates

• for all regions except the US, the Referring Physician field is now mandatory (however, this can be switched off at the facility level if required)

• if you have the relevant access to update your lab's details, you can choose whether you want the Electronic Health Records (EHR) search function to be available
• the number of options that display in the Ordering Clinician field have been increased to 1,000
• COVID-related indication options have been added to the Indications dropdown on the Procedure and Medical enrolment page
• other enhancements have been made to the enrolment and business unit management screens

Updating user permissions

Issues related to the management of user permissions and access levels have been fixed. Admin users can now update these details for those users to which they themselves have access.

Changing patient hookup date and time while uploading patient data files 

Issues that occurred when changing a patient's hookup date and time while uploading the patient's data files from a Holter device have been resolved.

Patient's related procedures

When a patient has other related procedures in BeatBox, the four most recent of these procedures (which have a 'Finalised’, ‘Repeat requested’, ‘Repeat received’ or ‘Analysed’ tags) now display when you click Related studies on the Report procedure page.

Insurance details (US only)

• All insurance information added at enrolment now displays on the Patient details modal (Insurance tab)
• If the patient has private insurance, or secondary insurance with Medicare both the Primary insurance ID and Secondary insurance ID fields are now mandatory. The insurance ID must be alphanumeric and be between 5-30 characters in length. No spaces or symbols other than a hyphen ('-') are allowed.
