Viewing Duplicate Holter Procedures in BeatBox
As part of the enhanced Holter data validation process, BeatBox now includes the ability to automatically detect and flag duplicate Holter procedures during data upload. This enhancement improves clinical data integrity by helping prevent redundant uploads.
When potential duplicates are identified, users are notified during the upload process. Additionally, users can investigate duplicate procedures directly from the worklist, enabling more informed decision-making.
1. Detecting Duplicate Procedures During Data Upload
During the Holter data upload process, BeatBox automatically checks for files that may have been previously uploaded for a different patient.
How It Works:
- If duplicate Holter data files are detected on the device, the system compares them against existing uploads.
- When matches are found, the duplicate procedures are listed in the alert dialog, sorted from newest to oldest for easy review.
- The user is presented with two options:
- Cancel: Discontinue the upload process.
- Continue: Proceed with the upload despite the detected duplicates.
2. Viewing Duplicate Procedures from the Worklist
Users can review detailed information about procedures flagged as duplicates directly from the Worklist.
Steps to View Duplicate Procedures:
1. Locate Duplicate Entries:
- In the Worklist, identify procedures marked with the Duplicate tag under the Workflow Tags column.
- Alternatively, use the Filter feature to display only procedures flagged as duplicates.
2. Access Duplicate Information:
- Click the ellipsis icon (…) next to the desired procedure.
- From the dropdown menu, select Duplicates.
3. Review Duplicate Procedures Dialog:
- A dialog box will open, listing all procedures identified as duplicates of the selected Holter procedure.
- Procedures are displayed from newest to oldest.
