Add or edit a facility
In BeatBox, a facility belongs to an organization and an organization belongs to a billing entity. A facility also contains labs.
This topic shows you how to add a new facility or edit an existing facility.
Add a new facility
To add a new facility, you need to:
- check that the facility doesn't already exist
- select (or add) the billing entity and organization to which the facility belongs
- add facility details
- create a lab for the facility
Check that the facility does not already exist
1. Go to beatboxv3.cloud and log in to BeatBox.
2. Click the icon at the top left of your Worklist, then click Business units and Facilities. (Click outside the side pane to close it).
3. Use the Search function or sort and scroll through the list to to see whether the facility has already been added to the organization.
If the facility already exists, you can edit its details if required. If the facility doesn't exist, create a new one (see Select the billing entity and organization to which the facility belongs, below).

When you create a new facility, you must assign it to an organization (the organization will be assigned to a billing entity).
1. At the top right of the Facility list screen, click Add new entity.
2. On the Billing entity page, select the relevant billing entity from the dropdown, then click Next.
3. On the Organization page, select the relevant organization from the dropdown, then click Next.
If the organization doesn't exist (and you have the permissions to do so), create a new organization.
4. Go to Add facility details (below).
Add facility details
1. On the Facility page, click Create new.
2. Add details about the facility (the Facility name and Country fields are mandatory).
3. If you want to display the lab's logo on the procedure's final report, click Choose file under the Logo field then upload the file.
4. Once you have added all details about the facility, click Next.
5. You now need to create a lab for the facility.
Once you have created a lab, the new facility will be added to BeatBox.
Edit an existing facility
1. Click the icon at the top left of your Worklist, then click Business units and Facilities. (Click outside the side pane to close it).
2. Use the Search function or sort and scroll through the list to find the facility.
3. Click next to the facility, then select Edit.
4. Edit the facility's details as required.
5. When you have finished, click Save.
