Review a Holter procedure
Follow these steps to either:
Follow up review request
When a procedure has been returned for review, the person who requested the review (usually a doctor) will attach notes to the procedure outlining the reason for the review. You will need to read these notes to determine the action required.
To follow up a review request:
- Filter the procedures in your Worklist by 'Sent for review' status
- Check the notes attached to the procedure
- Action the procedure as required:
Filter procedures in your Worklist by 'Sent for review' status
1. Go to https://www.beatbox.cloud/ and log in to BeatBox.
2. Click Filter at the top left of your Worklist.
3. On the filter pop-up, go to the Status column and click 'Sent for review'.
4. On the filter pop-up, click Close.
Your Worklist will be automatically filtered by your selection.
5. In your Worklist, go to the relevant procedure and click Review.
6. Go to Check notes attached to procedure (below).

The Conversations panel opens:
5. Read the note titled 'Sent for review' (it should contain the reason for review).
6. Action the procedure as required:
- update the Conclusion field (if needed)
- request that the procedure be repeated, OR
- reject the procedure.
Update the Conclusions field
1. If you have already logged in to BeatBox, go to step 2. Otherwise, go to https://www.beatbox.cloud/ and log in.
2. Click Filter at the top left of your Worklist.
3. On the filter pop-up, select your filter options.
4. On the filter pop-up, click Close.
Your Worklist will be automatically filtered by your selection.
5. In your Worklist, go to the relevant procedure and click Review.
6. On the Report procedure page, go to the Conclusion field and update details as required.
Your updates will be saved automatically.
7. If you are following up a review request and have completed all required actions, click Review completed.
The procedure's status changes to ‘Reviewed’ and a ‘Revised’ workflow tag is added to the procedure.
However, if you are just updating the report's conclusion, either:
- click Next to move to the next procedure in your list, or
- click Worklist at the top of your screen to return to your Worklist.
Request that a procedure be repeated
Follow these steps if you want to request that a procedure be repeated.
1. On the Report procedure page, click Repeat.
The following occurs:
- a 'Repeat requested by' message displays in the procedure header (in red font)
- the Repeat button changes to 'Cancel repeat' (enabling you to cancel the repeat request if required)
- a 'Repeat requested' tag is attached to the procedure in the Worklist
Reject the procedure
The Reject option is generally used when a report is incomplete. A procedure can be rejected at any stage; either before or after it has been confirmed by a doctor. If you want to reject a procedure, follow these steps.
1. Go to your Worklist and find the procedure.
2. Click the icon beside the procedure and select Reject.
A ‘Rejected’ tag will be attached to the procedure and the procedure will no longer display in your Worklist. If you have rejected a procedure by mistake, you can ‘un-reject’ the procedure.
Unreject procedure
Rejected procedures do not display in your Worklist unless you filter your Worklist using the ‘Rejected’ tag.
1. Click Filter at the top left of your Worklist.
2. On the filter pop-up, go to the Tags column and click 'Rejected'.
3. In your filtered Worklist, find the procedure that you want to un-reject.
4. Click the icon beside the procedure and select Unreject.
The procedure will display in your Worklist and the 'Rejected' tag will be removed.
