Upload data from Holter device (using Get Data)
Before you can upload the patient's data from the Holter device, you must have first:
Once you have completed these steps, the procedure will be in 'Enrolled on device' status.
You can then upload the patient data from the Holter device into BeatBox.
This process shows you how to:
- Select the patient
- Change the patient's hookup date and time (if required)
- Upload Holter data
- Check/add patient events
Select patient
1. Go to your Worklist and search for the patient's procedure.
2. To the right of the procedure, click Get data.
3. Follow the prompts on the popup that displays and check that:
- the Holter device is plugged into your computer
- you have selected the correct patient (their name displays at the top of the popup)
4. If required, change the date and time the patient was hooked up to the device, otherwise go to Upload data (below).
Change patient hookup date and time
1. On the Upload data from Holter device popup, click Change Hookup Date and Time.
2. On the Enrol patient popup that displays, add the date and time, then click Confirm.
Upload Holter data
1. On the Upload data from Holter device popup, click Browse.
2. On the upload window, select the folder that contains the patient's Holter data files then click Upload.
3. On the message that displays, check that you have selected the correct folder, then click Upload:
4. Go to Check/add patient events (below).
Check/add patient events
The myPatch Holter device enables the patient to indicate if they experience any mild symptoms while wearing the device. The patient double-taps the device when they experience an event then records the date and time in their Symptom diary, as well as their symptoms and the activities that they were performing at the time.
Patient-registered events are included with the Holter data that you upload from the device.
1. Obtain the patient's Symptom diary, then correlate the events recorded on this document against the events listed in the Events window (if any).
2. Add/update details as required to match the details recorded by the patient in their Symptom diary:
Add new event
- click
- select the date and time of the event
- select any symptoms and choose the relevant activity intensity
Edit an event
- to clear all details for an event, click Clear then click Yes to confirm (or No to cancel)
- to edit specific details for an event, update the options in the relevant field/s
Copy an event
- click next to the event
- to edit specific details for a copied event, update the options in the relevant field/s
Delete an event
- click next to the event
- click Yes to confirm your deletion (or click No to cancel your delete request
Sort events
To sort events into date order (with the earliest event at the top of the list) click Sort events.
3. When you have finished, click Done.
If the Holter data files are uploaded successfully, the procedure status changes to 'Ready for analysis'.
- you plugged the correct Holter device into your computer (i.e. the device matches the patient files that you selected).
- the device doesn't contain multiple files for the patient.
- the Upload folder contains all relevant files required for the upload.
4. To upload a Patient Symptom Diary:
- Click on the paperclip icon on the worklist (after a patient's holter study has been uploaded).
- On the windows explorer folder, search for and select the Patient Symptom Diary from your local computer and click Open to upload:
- The Patient Symptom Diary will be uploaded and stored on the Support Docs Tab:
- Click on the Support Docs Tab to open a Patient Symptom Diary, the diary will open on a new tab.
