Enroll patient on Holter device
Before enrolling a patient on the Holter device, you must first enroll the patient's procedure in BeatBox.
Once you have enrolled the procedure, its status will be 'Ready to enroll'.
You can then either enroll the patient on the device straight away, or later (via your Worklist).
Enroll patient on device right after you enroll the procedure
1. Check that the docking station for the Holter device is connected to your computer, then plug the device into the docking station.
2. On the enrollment screen, go to the the Hookup date and Hookup time fields and confirm/update the date and time the patient was hooked up to the Holter device.
3. At the bottom of the screen, click Save.
4. On the pop-up that displays, click Enroll now.
5. Go to Complete enrollment in myPatch (below).
Enroll patient on device later (via your Worklist)
1. Check that the docking station for the Holter device is connected to your computer, then plug the device into the docking station.
2. Go to your Worklist and search for the procedure.
3. Click Enroll to the right of the procedure.
4. On the Enroll patient pop-up, check that the patient's hookup date and time are correct then click Enroll.
5. Go to Complete enrollment in myPatch (below).
Complete enrollment in myPatch
There are 2 methods of enrollment:
1. Desktop Enrollment
2. Web Enrollment
Please follow the appropriate steps for your chosen method below
IF your method of enrollment is "Desktop Enrollment":
Before you begin, check that you have the correct version of the myPatch enrollment software installed on your computer.
Contact the relevant Admin at your site for further assistance if required.
1. On the pop-up that displays, click Yes to indicate that you want to delete all previous data from the device:
2. On the myPatch Enrollment window, click Submit.
3. On the pop-up that displays, click OK.
4. Click Confirm enrolled in myPatch on the pop-up that displays in BeatBox.
The patient is enrolled on the Holter device. The procedure's status is now 'Enrolled on device' and an 'Enrolled' tag is attached to the procedure.
IF your method of enrollment is "Web Enrollment":
1. On the pop up that displays, select CONTINUE.
2. Select "STM32 Virtual ComPort in FS Mode" in the pop up as shown below and click CONNECT.
3. Select the file location of the MyPatch device on your PC and click SELECT FOLDER.
4. Grant access to allow BeatBox to read from the selected location, by clicking EDIT FILES.
Note: You only need to do this once per browser session, if permission is already granted you will not see this message
5. Confirm the details of the MyPatch enrollment are correct. Click ENROLL ON DEVICE to complete the enrolment process.
The patient is enrolled on the Holter device. The procedure's status is now 'Enrolled on device' and an 'Enrolled' tag is attached to the procedure.
